World of Warcraft is fun, and massively addicting, so unless you want to spend several hours running around blindly trying to get levels the ordinary way, you should get a guide to help show you exactly what to do – in the right order – so there’s no downtime to the experience. Some players consider it cheating, but with so many people doing it, it’s just become part of the game at this point. In fact, the Zygor Guides adhere to all of Blizzards terms and conditions so you don’t have to worry about getting banned.

BTW, one of the issues I had when I tried the trial version of your guide is that it did not seem to take the character’s actual level in consideration. I remember a number of times going to the NPC I was directed too and seeing a white Exclamation point rather than yellow. Or, in some cases, no exclamation point at all. Not knowing why frustrated me.

The guide comes in the form of a plug-in that you’ll use with your regular WOW program. Once it’s installed you’ll notice some key changes to the interface of the game. There will be a dialogue box guiding you through the game, advising you as to which quests to complete, which steps to take, and where you can find necessary items. The information is very specific so you won’t have to waste any time deciphering cryptic hints. As you might imagine, this significantly speeds up the processes of the game.

The only thing I can see happening if this goes to court is Zygor being ordered to stop selling his addon in violation of Blizzard’s TOS. His demands are laughable, especially the lost sales. I don’t think he has a legal leg to stand on, since you had Tekkub’s permission. And I believe the only part of the addon that you actually sold, and wasn’t in the freely available trial version, was your own guide files.

The leveling path was built around using a Hunter character and run by a player who knows how to use that character well. For the average player running, for example, a Paladin, the guides could be frustrating in spots, due to the level of the mobs. I played through Joana’s Guide with a Rogue (all the way from 1-70) and was able to deal with most everything, except for a few elites and I skipped most all of the group quests.
Yeah, between the forums, sites like wowhead and wowpedia, and regular questing addons, there's plenty of accurate information available, especially when problems pop up. Guides like that are generally published before a game or expansion is released too, which is fine for static games like those for consoles, but not so great for the ones like WoW that are updated and hotfixed on a regular basis. Even the WoW game manuals are obsolete by the end of the expansion.

The part you need to understand too, is that the Zygor addon doesn't use an App like TSM to update many times per day your auction value. When i bought the gold guide i remember that i didn't understand much either, the results were random and from items i can't make much gold with. It just scans the auction house based on their most recent value update which can be days and days ago.
Regardless, I'm not promoting torrenting with that and especially not Zygor as the "add-on" itself is lacking in any real usefulness, it feels similar to those "Gold guides" that promotes themselves as giving some kind of "secret" information when there really isn't any, it's just a compilation of things that sound good the first time you read it but in the end you still need to put in the effort & by then you could've just skipped purchasing the "guide" & spent your time reading up on something like Tradeskillmaster.
Take into account the misinformation and confusion, contradictory e-mails and communications, monetary donations for open source development, and late notification and Zygor does not have a case! Put Tekkub on the stand and watch him squirm as he tries to explain the various communications between parties – a good lawyer will eat him for lunch and use his bones for a toothpick.
If you’ve gotten into World of Warcraft, one of the largest MMOs on the planet, you probably have considered using something like Zygor Guides to help you level up. Since so many people play it, there’s always someone at a higher level than you are, and it can be frustrating and time consuming going through the motions the old fashioned way. Plus, if other people are using a guide, it only makes sense to level the playing field. But how well do these guides really work at getting you to the level you want?

The only thing I can see happening if this goes to court is Zygor being ordered to stop selling his addon in violation of Blizzard’s TOS. His demands are laughable, especially the lost sales. I don’t think he has a legal leg to stand on, since you had Tekkub’s permission. And I believe the only part of the addon that you actually sold, and wasn’t in the freely available trial version, was your own guide files.

From the information I have,  Zygor obtain the rights to tourguide in 18th  December  (incorrectly stated as November in the screen shot below) and intentionally not notify ultimatewowguide.com or anybody else.  So they can wait for 2 months to gain some sort of legal grounds for suing ultimatewowguide.com  and maybe others  for 2 months worth of loss of income (refer to screenshot below)
I believe that if, at any time, Tekkub intimated in any way that you could use his code, whether it was thru formal contract or an informal ‘hey if you want’ email, … from that point on, unless he formally requires you to stop using it, that you are free to continue to do so. At such time as Zygor gained ownership of said code, it would be his responsibility to use a discover process, similar to when you search for liens on a home prior to buying it, to make sure no one had been given prior permission to use it. Tekkor should have made Zygor aware of anyone commercially using his code, and Zygor should have made a formal request of you Dugi, to stop using the code, long before he took legal action against you. Lawyers put their pants on one leg at a time like anyone, and there is a reason everyone tells lawyer jokes. So just because he is using an attorney doesn’t mean he is within his rights. That IS a joke! And, he can’t specify an amount to pay, or ‘he’ll take you to court’. He probably screwed himself right there. And he certainly can’t prevent you from creating addons for a game he doesn’t own. Take a deep breath and relax. Just tell him you’ll ‘see him in court’. It will go your way. I guarantee it.

The waypoint directional system helps you to easily spot and reach a quest NPC or target. The step-by-step guidelines give you an idea of the materials you will at later stages. This minimises the time wasted while backtracking. Your quest progress and level will be updated automatically by the guide. This feature makes it easy to use any character. If you want to take a break or switch to battlegrounds or dungeons, you only need to re-tweak the guide to match your need at hand. Zygor Guides also come with flight path usage, turn in and quest accepting.

It’s a sad that things have come down to this. I personally thought there were things to recommend about both your and Zygor’s guids. I myself used both for different reasons. I will no longer be using Zygor for anything anymore though. I understand competition, but fight it honestly. not using underhanded tactics. That is the problem with the world today though, too few know what honor is anymore.
Ok, i'll continue with this assessment. You will have basic courses for ones persona wether you participate in horde or maybe the Alliance this specific doesn't make a difference as well as Zygor has even looked at a number of differerent personas weak spots as well as talents. As not all avid gamers hold the searcher capabilities you'll not be directed on the mission if there is the possibility associated with not necessarily having the capacity to finish it going single. Is very understandable.

In summary zygor guides provides some the most detailed, and helpful guides on the market. Not to mention that their customer support and new content updates is unmatched. I have never seen a guide company to this day, output as much content, new guides, fixes, and support. I mean zygor provides, leveling both alliance and horde, dailies, rep grinding, farming paths for the nether drake eggs, and more.
I use Zygor and have for years. Probably since the end of BC, I do own all their guides, I will honestly say I even spoke to Blizzard to make sure it was legal and yes...it is. IN regards to it being a waste of money, it has not been a waste of money for me....and part of the reason why I have so many high levels and maxed professions, the mounts I have...etc. A lot of people will say it is not worth it partly because it is not something they would use. Personally, what I would reccomend you do is download their free trial, create a level 1 use that character to level to 20 WITH the guide, and then level a toon from 1-20 WITHOUT the guide and decide for yourself which is better and more efficient for you. I was able to test it out because my dad let me play wow on his computer to test the guide out first hand. It saves a lot of time for me having to alt tab out and makes my game play smoother. You can check out this video I made on Zygor that explains it just a little bit more if you like, but really the only question you have to ask is "Is this guide right for you?" Its not for everyone, but for me...If they got rid of zygor for some unknown reason I would have to find another guide just as good because my game play would be destroyed as Zygor has been a major part in my game play for so long. Hope I helped and hope my video helps.

So far i've done almost half in the past 2 weeks or so. I just want to know would it actually be beneficial to do the above tasks? Just all seems a bit too grindy, I feel like I've been wasting so much time doing old content that's not even needed any more... but I didn't mind doing them for the transmogs and such. I guess i'm just asking if this addon is really worth using and it's not suggesting unneeded filler.
So far it seems like the guides direct you to the easiest/best way to get stuff done. The waypoints they use are better than some other places because it tells you how to get to a certain place rather than saying "Go to X place" it says "Go out of the building and down the path" then once you do those things it says "Go kill X mob Y mob and Z mob until you have A items". It has given some pointers too for an area it was like "If you kill a lava thing it gives you a buff so you can walk on the lava" so it tells you to kill some lava things (JC quest in WoD)
