A person who enjoys “World of Warcraft” games will find Zygor Guides quite useful. One of the biggest challenges for gamers is always reaching the top level. It requires a lot of time, effort and skill to get through the different levels. In fact, new releases always increase the level cap. For instance, world of war games such as Monk Class or Pandaren went up by 5 Level caps and now stand at 90. Reaching this level can be a daunting task for both experienced as well as newbie. In fact, many players prefer the endgame experience or the final battle over the journey. The sooner they get to the top level the better the gaming experience.
I believe that if, at any time, Tekkub intimated in any way that you could use his code, whether it was thru formal contract or an informal ‘hey if you want’ email, … from that point on, unless he formally requires you to stop using it, that you are free to continue to do so. At such time as Zygor gained ownership of said code, it would be his responsibility to use a discover process, similar to when you search for liens on a home prior to buying it, to make sure no one had been given prior permission to use it. Tekkor should have made Zygor aware of anyone commercially using his code, and Zygor should have made a formal request of you Dugi, to stop using the code, long before he took legal action against you. Lawyers put their pants on one leg at a time like anyone, and there is a reason everyone tells lawyer jokes. So just because he is using an attorney doesn’t mean he is within his rights. That IS a joke! And, he can’t specify an amount to pay, or ‘he’ll take you to court’. He probably screwed himself right there. And he certainly can’t prevent you from creating addons for a game he doesn’t own. Take a deep breath and relax. Just tell him you’ll ‘see him in court’. It will go your way. I guarantee it.
I've been seeing on Facebook a link to a site called Zygor Guides. Apparently they are an in game guide for everything from leveling to Lore to professions. You name it, they've got a guide for it. My question is this, are they "legal"? Or rather, are they allowed to be used? Was thinking of buying one, but wanted to find out first. I didn't want my account suspended or anything for using one. Below is a link to their site.

For some players, leveling as fast as possible is a priority, and that’s where the Zygor WOW Leveling Guide comes in. By taking advantage of the guide you can level much faster, with some claiming to go through all 80 levels in only a week. This is much faster than you’d be able to level without a guide. The latest guide also eliminates the need to swap back and forth between the guide and game windows.
A zygor guide is absolutely not a reliable investment, it's not going to be resaleable so you're never going to make your money back. As a purchase, at this point in the game if you need a leveling guide you shouldn't be playing the game. Leveling up is so fast, quests are easy to understand and chained, and the game puts a mark on your map for where to go for around 90% of quests. If you can't manage to follow in-game quests (possibly with a free add-on), what do you plan to do when you're done leveling? Raiding and PVPing don't just happen for you automatically.
How is this better than the in-game quest helper thingie? While that shows you the destination of your quests it doesn’t show you the best order in which to take them, which to skip, and when to move on (such as when you’ve out leveled the area.) .  Zygor’s show you the optimum path to take to complete the most quests in the least time, which will save you lots of time over the quest helper.
The leveling path was built around using a Hunter character and run by a player who knows how to use that character well. For the average player running, for example, a Paladin, the guides could be frustrating in spots, due to the level of the mobs. I played through Joana’s Guide with a Rogue (all the way from 1-70) and was able to deal with most everything, except for a few elites and I skipped most all of the group quests.

Every one of the skill generates for that personas usually are regularly becoming updated to stay latest. Only a few manuals around are generally regularly up-to-date including Steve Cook's Zygor's Instructions. You'll also find the advised ability develop for the dog that they can advocate for your requirements likewise. Rather handy-Nice to obtain. Nicely, that may be plenty of by me. I really hope this Zygor Guide evaluate possesses assisted a person decide.

Support all the way from me, your guide is the best guide for the price and your customer support has been great. I agree with many that this sounds like extortion to me and be sure to bring legal representatives if this does go to court. My father works in international patent law and after reading both sides, I do not believe their case will hold any weight in court. Either way be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Zygor is what me and my friends in the workforce call a scumbag and it sure as hell sounds like scumbag scare tactics to me. I am going to do some research on my end and if I or my father can find anything I will be sure to let you know via email. If as I believe it is true and you are truly in the right, then Zygor is bitter that his business is poorly outfitted and run and simply wants to bring you down to their level. Do not send them your business stats without first consulting well respected legal representation as that is them simply trying to find obscure stats to twist and take out of context. Like I said scumbags. You have my full support and I can give my word in court if your lawyers could use a written testimony. They can contact me via email.
The part you need to understand too, is that the Zygor addon doesn't use an App like TSM to update many times per day your auction value. When i bought the gold guide i remember that i didn't understand much either, the results were random and from items i can't make much gold with. It just scans the auction house based on their most recent value update which can be days and days ago.
Less QQ more PEW PEW! You were the first guide ever I bought back in ’07 when there was no ingame leveling just pages upon pages of looking between web browser and wow which got me to 70 fast, therefore I didn’t need to look anywhere else for leveling guides. Keep your **** straight and keep updating the guide man; you’re doing a lot of people a favor by saving time, money, and the hassles of this game. If you get sued and your site closes down…I’ll have to quit wow because I’m not looking for any other guides to waste my time on or more of my life, wow takes that up as it is. In the word’s of Rob Schneider, “You can do it!”

Then I made my way inside the cave in Stillpine Hold to complete the last half of the quests: inspect the blood crystals, kill Chieftain Oomooroo, the 9 Crazed Wildkin, and The Kurken. Only it took me a while to get to the cave. I didn’t know the quest was inside the cave so I tried using the waypoint to find the location, but it directed me on the other side of the mountain. Which was quite far from the cave.
In summary zygor guides provides some the most detailed, and helpful guides on the market. Not to mention that their customer support and new content updates is unmatched. I have never seen a guide company to this day, output as much content, new guides, fixes, and support. I mean zygor provides, leveling both alliance and horde, dailies, rep grinding, farming paths for the nether drake eggs, and more.

But the thing about the waypoint is that it’s not always accurate. It happened when I was carrying out the Inoculation quest in which I had to kill infected owlkins and collect the emitter spare parts from the crashed ship in the Nestlewood Thicket and Nestlewood Hills. After I managed to kill owlkins, there was a particular spot in the area where the arrow turned green, telling me that a spare part was right there.
I first purchased Zygor about 6 years ago from this day. Back then there was no monthly membership so each guide had to be purchased life time up front. I was a bit cautious to spend that much money on an in-game add-on when there were similar ones that were available for free. Soon after I realized Zygor was one of the "you get what you pay for" examples where the quality of guide was so far superior to the free alternatives I actually ended up buying even more guides than I originally intended. Over the years Zygor has improved in the quality of there guides, as well as now offers guides far beyond just simple questing. I think in the past 6 years I have only reported 1 or 2 bugs to the forums and each time I got an almost immediate response from the Zygor admin account to help me with the issue. I have been playing WoW on and off since the release of Cataclysm and have leveled numerous characters multiple times and without a doubt do I believe Zygor is the only reason I have leveled 80% of the characters I have. The fact that you can now get every single guide for such a small monthly payment is a no-brainer and was the rite path to go down for Zygor. Hopefully the company continues to grow and offer quality guides as it does now.
Thanks very much - spent 20 mins in game to get my bearings again, it's really cool being able to stay in a zone rather than worrying about mobs turning grey etc.! Quite looking forward to being able to run so many different instances now - hopefully what I read about bosses staying alive longer so you can experience the boss-fight mechanics is true.
I use Zygor and have for years. Probably since the end of BC, I do own all their guides, I will honestly say I even spoke to Blizzard to make sure it was legal and yes...it is. IN regards to it being a waste of money, it has not been a waste of money for me....and part of the reason why I have so many high levels and maxed professions, the mounts I have...etc. A lot of people will say it is not worth it partly because it is not something they would use. Personally, what I would reccomend you do is download their free trial, create a level 1 use that character to level to 20 WITH the guide, and then level a toon from 1-20 WITHOUT the guide and decide for yourself which is better and more efficient for you. I was able to test it out because my dad let me play wow on his computer to test the guide out first hand. It saves a lot of time for me having to alt tab out and makes my game play smoother. You can check out this video I made on Zygor that explains it just a little bit more if you like, but really the only question you have to ask is "Is this guide right for you?" Its not for everyone, but for me...If they got rid of zygor for some unknown reason I would have to find another guide just as good because my game play would be destroyed as Zygor has been a major part in my game play for so long. Hope I helped and hope my video helps.

Hey, I don’t know if this is a little late. But I’m with you all the way, I haven’t actually used any of your guides. But from what I’ve heard, yours is definitely better. I’ve tried Zygors, just got the Joana’s one and copied and put an automatic feature in it… I’ll be with you all the way. Zygor just saw your guide and decided to get rights from Tekkub and then get you out of it to remove the competition.
So far it seems like the guides direct you to the easiest/best way to get stuff done. The waypoints they use are better than some other places because it tells you how to get to a certain place rather than saying "Go to X place" it says "Go out of the building and down the path" then once you do those things it says "Go kill X mob Y mob and Z mob until you have A items". It has given some pointers too for an area it was like "If you kill a lava thing it gives you a buff so you can walk on the lava" so it tells you to kill some lava things (JC quest in WoD)
