Tyr's Hand (marked RED on the map) - One of the Scarlet Crusade's Bastions, the Tyr's Hand is located in the south-eastern part of the Eastern Plaguelands. Scarlet Crusade members that can be encountered there have a very good Loot Table. The main focus here will be the Scarlet Archmage (which is an Elite, so farming them solo might not be possible for some Classes). the Archmage drops a lot of Runecloth, ~14 Silver worth of Pocket Money on average, and most importantly, the Formula: Enchant Weapon - Crusader which is very valuable to all Enchanters and achieves really high prices on the Auction House. Mobs encountered in Tyr's Hand can be Pickpocketed, so this is a quite good spot for experienced Rogues. Recommended Level - 60 (some Classes might be required to find a Farming Partner and go in as a duo).
Monstrous Plaguebats (market GREEN on the map) - These are larger cousins of the normal Plaguebats. They occupy northern parts of the Eastern Plaguelands and drop Vendor Trash Items (Evil Bat Eye, Bat Ear, Sleek Bat Pelt, and Large Bat Fang), Wicked Claws (used in Leatherworking and Blacksmithing Recipes), and maybe some 16 Slot Bags. These can also be skinned for Rugged Leather, Thick Leather, Thick Hide, and Rugged Hide, so Skinning Profession is recommended for Farming them. Monstrous Plague bats have access to the Sonic Burst ability, which is a 10-second Silence, so they are not a good choice for Spellcasting Classes. Recommended Level - 56+.
There are more passive methods to gain wow classic gold, but these are slower. For example, many people choose to fish in places like Tanaris, or kill Harpies in Feralas and loot items such as mageweaves. These are rather AFK-able, but again, not as rewarding. Some people choose to favour fun over anything, and like in any MMO (massively multiplayer online game), the best way to have fun is playing games with friends or your guild. Dungeon runs with your friends provide social interaction and are definitely helpful over the long-term for your gold stack!

Learn only the Essential Skills - Learning new and upgraded Skills gets very expensive very quickly (Buying a single skill that requires level 30 will cost you 1 Gold, and a single level 40 Skill costs 2 Gold) If you buy just the essentials, you can save anywhere from 15 to 30 gold before level 40, depending on your Class. Generally, higher ranks of skills that are used for their utility effects can be skipped (these include Warrior's Harmstring, Rogue's Gouge and Kick, Mage's Frost Nova, and many other CC and utility skills and abilities). Also, don't buy any ranks of abilities that you will not use during leveling (things like Rogue's Expose Armor, Hunter's Eyes of the Beast, Warlock's Eye of Kilrogg, and so on).
Actually, I understood perfectly, but I don't think having to be subscribed 2 weeks before go live actually matters when you're expecting to be subscribed for 6 months or more. Those are the people who will care what their name is anyways. IMO, this is more fair. I'm going to be playing this for between 6 months to a year solid at least. Other than some life changing event, I'd be shocked if that didn't happen. I'd rather compete against a smaller pool of players for my names rather than everyone on go live.
Kaivax, a WoW forum community manager, revealed that WoW Classic's class design, battleground mechanics and stats on existing items will be set to their 1.12 state, despite the game releasing content that expands beyond that. This removes "progressive itemization," so if the stats on a specific piece of equipment was changed during the original updates, that won't take effect in this version.
While I don’t know how meaningful the number will be compared to the number of players there will be at launch, having the sub requirement gives you a better idea that everyone who signs up is probably serious about playing. If everyone can make characters for free then there will be a lot of people that aren’t actually gonna play and meaninglessly inflates their numbers. This also presents the bullshit problem that somebody that never intended to play takes your name without having ever subbed. Which also introduces the thing that would 100% happen (and still probably will tbf, but less likely and slightly less sheisty in any case) that people will claim names to sell.

Bats can also be Skinned for Rugged Leather, Thick Leather, Thick Hide, and Rugged Hide, so Skinning Profession is recommended for this Spot. Plague Bats have access to the Terrifying Screech Ability, so they can get annoying at times, especially for melee Classes, but are a great source of Gold nevertheless. Recommended Level - 53+.
Grind - During the first few weeks after Classic's launch, making good money out of the Auction House alone will not be possible (items will be dirt cheap because no one will have Gold to spare). This means that you will be forced to Grind Mobs if you want to afford a mount at level 40, not to say level 60. Picking a right Grinding spot is very important, as the Gold/Hour differences between similar level spots can be huge. We will provide you with some worthwhile grinding locations in a further section of this Guide.
I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections. I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff. Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter. I think these were great changes.
