Grind - During the first few weeks after Classic's launch, making good money out of the Auction House alone will not be possible (items will be dirt cheap because no one will have Gold to spare). This means that you will be forced to Grind Mobs if you want to afford a mount at level 40, not to say level 60. Picking a right Grinding spot is very important, as the Gold/Hour differences between similar level spots can be huge. We will provide you with some worthwhile grinding locations in a further section of this Guide.
Tyr's Hand (marked RED on the map) - One of the Scarlet Crusade's Bastions, the Tyr's Hand is located in the south-eastern part of the Eastern Plaguelands. Scarlet Crusade members that can be encountered there have a very good Loot Table. The main focus here will be the Scarlet Archmage (which is an Elite, so farming them solo might not be possible for some Classes). the Archmage drops a lot of Runecloth, ~14 Silver worth of Pocket Money on average, and most importantly, the Formula: Enchant Weapon - Crusader which is very valuable to all Enchanters and achieves really high prices on the Auction House. Mobs encountered in Tyr's Hand can be Pickpocketed, so this is a quite good spot for experienced Rogues. Recommended Level - 60 (some Classes might be required to find a Farming Partner and go in as a duo).
I really can't buy into this reason because they used to do beta without the subscription requirement. It seems like if they want to test how many people are interested, they can just open it up to everyone like they do for every WoW expansion. And how are they going to know how many servers they need for all the people without a subscription who can't reserve a name or qualify for beta?

Create a Bank Alt and level it up to level 5 - The leveling part is very important because you can pick up Enchanting after you reach it. In Classic, you can disenchant EVERY uncommon item of every level, if you have the enchanting profession. Disenchanting weak BoE Uncommon Items and selling Enchanting Materials on AH will help you make some extra money out of otherwise Vendor-destined gear. The Bank Alt will also serve as your high-capacity storage for various items* that are bound to rise in value over time or might come in handy at a later date. Overall, this is a must-have, as it will improve your overall leveling and Gold-making efficiency, let you store additional items, allow you to consolidate your Gold on a single character, and provide you with a way of squeezing some extra Gold out of various Items.


This is the lamest excuse to try and pin it on a cash grab. Tbh this is just you complaining to complain, there is no issue. If you wanted to play classic on launch you'd have to sub before hand anyways you're still paying month to month you don't pay by week. The only way you'd lose that money is if you quit before your sub ran out later on down the road.
To gain gold in World of Warcraft, you will primarily be grinding professions which are fantastic for receiving rewards. Mining is an example of a great profession at an early-game level. While Herbalism is actually the best gathering profession, the issue is it uses consumables which can make the profession rather costly, with the investment required.

Now, I've already made a couple of similar videos on the channel and more to come in the future because having gold in classic wow it will just make you progress smoother and your life easier. Most of the characters I've leveled in vanilla got me almost half way into buying the epic mount by the time I've reached 60. The purpose of the videos is to get you on the same level, reaching 60 and having alot of gold to spare. Today we're going to take a look at another 3 grinding spots that can make you decent gold and experience between levels 30 - 45.
The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.

The argument for this is simple: what makes classic WoW great to one player might be different from what makes it great for another. And who are Blizzard's designers to say which old features were just good or bad design for each player? It's an approach that shows Blizzard believes (at least to some degree) that WoW doesn't just belong to its creators but to its fans. That struggle between authorial intent or game design orthodoxy and "the player is always right" is at the heart of many of gaming's big contemporary controversies. But so far, Blizzard seems committed to its plan with regard to WoW Classic.


The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides.  My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first.  I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster.  I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP.  I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker.  I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow.  For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways.  Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.
