This is the lamest excuse to try and pin it on a cash grab. Tbh this is just you complaining to complain, there is no issue. If you wanted to play classic on launch you'd have to sub before hand anyways you're still paying month to month you don't pay by week. The only way you'd lose that money is if you quit before your sub ran out later on down the road.

The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides.  My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first.  I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster.  I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP.  I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker.  I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow.  For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways.  Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.

Swim Speed Potions (used especially at lvl 37 for Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands and lvl 57 in WPL).  Try to get multiple stacks of these.  I also recommend keeping a stack of these always in your bags.  You will frequently pass rivers and lakes and can use these potions to pass them faster through out the guide.  Please note that these potions do not stack with Druid's Aquatic Form and Glyph of Aquatic Form.
Some players have been surprised by these apparent flaws—even players who have been eagerly awaiting WoW Classic's release based on fond memories of vanilla WoW. In truth, it has been so long since WoW first released, players' memories may not always be accurate. Some details might be fresh, but others might be lost in time, and it's those lost details that could surprise players revisiting the original experience in WoW Classic.
WOW Battle for Nazjatar is a new World PvP event in patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara. Create a Bank Alt and level it up to level 5 - The leveling part is very important because you can pick up Enchanting after you reach it. In Classic, you can disenchant EVERY uncommon item of every level, if you have the enchanting profession. Disenchanting weak BoE Uncommon Items and selling Enchanting Materials on AH will help you make some extra money out of otherwise Vendor-destined gear. The Bank Alt will also serve as your high-capacity storage for various items* that are bound to rise in value over time or might come in handy at a later date. Overall, this is a must-have, as it will improve your overall leveling and Gold-making efficiency, let you store additional items, allow you to consolidate your Gold on a single character, and provide you with a way of squeezing some extra Gold out of various Items.
Loot everything - Every single item in the game has some value and you should take advantage of this fact. Grey items can be vendored for that little bit of extra pocket money and white stackable items are needed for crafting, which means that people will generally buy them if you post them on AH for low enough price (if you can't be bothered to post Auctions, you can just vendor all of them and be done with it). Some of the looted items will rise in value over time, so you might also want to take your time and store them on Bank Alt.

WoW: Classic is still in beta stage, so this is still unclear what final shape will the game have upon release. If any of the information above appears to be out of date or inaccurate we will try to update it as soon as possible. We will also appreciate your help with catching possible mistakes and fixing this guide for other players. If you have any feedback on it, please leave it in the comments below.

Monstrous Plaguebats (market GREEN on the map) - These are larger cousins of the normal Plaguebats. They occupy northern parts of the Eastern Plaguelands and drop Vendor Trash Items (Evil Bat Eye, Bat Ear, Sleek Bat Pelt, and Large Bat Fang), Wicked Claws (used in Leatherworking and Blacksmithing Recipes), and maybe some 16 Slot Bags. These can also be skinned for Rugged Leather, Thick Leather, Thick Hide, and Rugged Hide, so Skinning  Profession is recommended for Farming them. Monstrous Plague bats have access to the Sonic Burst ability, which is a 10-second Silence, so they are not a good choice for Spellcasting Classes. Recommended Level - 56+.
https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/1... Hi Guys, Frost here. Welcome to a new installment from the series "how to get gold at low levels in classic wow". Now, I've already made a couple of similar videos on the channel and more to come in the future because having gold in classic wow it will just make you progress smoother and your life easier. Most of the characters I've leveled in vanilla got me almost half way into buying the epic mount by the time I've reached 60. The purpose of the videos is to get you on the same level, reaching 60 and having alot of gold to spare. Today we're going to take a look at another 3 grinding spots that can make you decent gold and experience between levels 30 - 45.

While I don’t know how meaningful the number will be compared to the number of players there will be at launch, having the sub requirement gives you a better idea that everyone who signs up is probably serious about playing. If everyone can make characters for free then there will be a lot of people that aren’t actually gonna play and meaninglessly inflates their numbers. This also presents the bullshit problem that somebody that never intended to play takes your name without having ever subbed. Which also introduces the thing that would 100% happen (and still probably will tbf, but less likely and slightly less sheisty in any case) that people will claim names to sell.
For WOW players who loved Vanilla WOW so much, the released date for WOW Classic has finally been confirmed and it will be launched on August 27, 2019! WOW classic gold & WOW gold classic are expected to have very high demand when the game is launched, WOW players are recommended to buy WOW classic gold or WOW gold classic from G2G.com and enjoy the cheapest price! For more info about the launch and testing schedule for WOW classic, kindly visit the official site here : https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/22990080/mark-your-calendars-wow-classic-launch-and-testing-schedule

Learn only the Essential Skills - Learning new and upgraded Skills gets very expensive very quickly (Buying a single skill that requires level 30 will cost you 1 Gold, and a single level 40 Skill costs 2 Gold) If you buy just the essentials, you can save anywhere from 15 to 30 gold before level 40, depending on your Class. Generally, higher ranks of skills that are used for their utility effects can be skipped (these include Warrior's Harmstring, Rogue's Gouge and Kick, Mage's Frost Nova, and many other CC and utility skills and abilities). Also, don't buy any ranks of abilities that you will not use during leveling (things like Rogue's Expose Armor, Hunter's Eyes of the Beast, Warlock's Eye of Kilrogg, and so on).
Kurzen's Compound (marked BLUE on the map) - Colonel Kurzen was once a very talented Stormwind Officer. He was sent with an expedition to the Jungles of Stranglethorn, where he fell victim to Mai'Zoth, a powerful Ogre Mage and his foul magic. Majority of Colonel's troops are still loyal to him and provide Players with some valuable Loot. In this spot, you will encounter Kurzen Jungle Fighters, Kurzen Medicine Men, Kurzen Wranglers, and Kurzen Commandos. These Humanoids drop a lot of Silk Cloth (that can be generally turned into Bandages and Vendored), valuable Wool Cloth (the main source of Gold from this spot, check the AH prices), Fadeleaf (Medicine Men), Liferoot (Medicine Men), 12 Slot Bags (Commandos), Vendor Trash Items, and some Pocket Money. This spot is especially good for Rogues, as the ability to Pickpocket mobs will increase profits by a noticeable margin. Recommended Level - 34+ (36+ to be extra safe, as Humanoid mobs can be problematic because they tend to run away on low health and pull additional enemies).

Even though the guide was developed with a hunter, the guide can be followed by any class.  Except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot.  I do have full intention to make my guide friendly with all classes in the future by listing all of their steps as well.  There will be a toggle that allows you to show which class's steps you want to see in the guide.  But this is coming later.
I don't think you really understand what my concern with this is. I'm not talking about needing it now. I'm talking about just a fair shot for everyone to grab what they want. To me, a fair way would be to just let people make their characters on launch day. But with what they are doing, they are essentially using a "pay to win" approach to getting popular names. You have no chance to grab a name like Arthas on launch day now. So let's say you are a former vanilla player like me who has no interest in the retail WoW. We are now forced to pay for 2 weeks of subscriptions just to pick a name we want.
As you level, you will buy new ranks of spells. If you splurge out on an item upgrade, you will not have enough gold readily available to upgrade to the latest ranks of spells: placing you behind. Moreover, you can buy gear upgrades from the Auction House (AH) or vendors. Furthermore, you may have large investments that need to be paid for professors. You will need to purchase reagents and items such as leather, bolts of cloth, alchemy supplies – unless you have a charitable friend or another high-level alt.
Unlike in the current World of Warcraft: BfA, Gold wasn't that easy to come by back in the vanilla version. Earning Gold for your first mount at level 40 was an accomplishment for the majority of players. When the game goes live and you decide to start your adventure, you will notice that every piece of equipment, crafting material and such is extremely expensive. That's always a thing when a new server or game is launched, as demand far exceeds the supply. You will also notice that quests give significantly less Gold compared to now, which makes it a necessity to play efficiently, and know goods spots for farming Gold and leveling.
WoW: Classic is scheduled for August 27 (technically August 26 if you're in the Americas). The soonest that you can play it is starting in May, during Blizzard's scheduled stress tests. To opt-in you must have an active subscription on your Battle.net account. If you do, go to Account Management and select the Wow Classic beta. Keep in mind, there will be level caps during the test. The schedule is as follows:

To celebrate World of Warcraft’s 15th anniversary, Blizzard is planning to release an authentic recreation of its early days with WoW Classic. Players will be able to explore Azeroth as it originally was before the release of WoW’s many expansion sets. Initially it’ll feature encounters like Molten Core, Onyxia and Maraudon at launch and will see more content rolled out as the game goes on (such as Alterac Valley, the Ahn’Qiraj War Effort and Naxxramas). It’s not just the world that’s reverting to its classic form either – the combat mechanics, skill trees and character models will be as they were in the original too.

Long-expected World of Warcraft Classic is confirmed to come in summer 2019. WOW Classic major content will be released in 6 phases, and you could learn the schedule and some information on character creation below. When is WOW Classic release date? World of Warcraft Classic is planned to release this summer on August 27, 2019. This will be a global release, and you could learn the times for each region on the...

Step-by-step class guides are on the way!  The 1-12 Mulgore Guide is the first guide to get all the individual class steps.  At the top of the guide, simply select which class you are playing and the page will dynamically update all the steps in the guide for that class (both text and images).  The rest of the guides will be slowly updated overtime to include all the class steps, but you can see how it's going to work with the 1-12 Mulgore.  I want to thank crazyK and his Placeholderguild for helping me out with the individual class content.  They are allowing me to get the 1-60 Alliance guide done while also getting all the class steps done at the same time, so everything can be ready for Classic launch (hopefully).

Hey buddy, I think you're forgetting that wow is part of a company and it's one of their major products they've been relying on for years. You may hate BFA and all the people who are still subscribed and playing BFA, but I can assure you Blizzard doesn't think that way. Imagine you sign up to go on a brand new cruise ship. The cruise ship company has a bunch of loyal customers who have been going on their cruises for years so they let them tour the new cruise ship the day before, however they decide to let new customers go on the tour for a small fee if they want to. That's what this is like. They're giving a little kick back to all the people who have stayed subbed to wow. I haven't played wow since the middle of legion and I can totally understand why blizzard would do that. You may think classic is all that matters. Blizzard still cares very much about the BFA players.

I really can't buy into this reason because they used to do beta without the subscription requirement. It seems like if they want to test how many people are interested, they can just open it up to everyone like they do for every WoW expansion. And how are they going to know how many servers they need for all the people without a subscription who can't reserve a name or qualify for beta?

The Horde 12-20 (Barrens + Stonetalon Mountains) guide has been rewritten and revamped.  In addition, there has been numerous tweaks to the speedrun route to make things faster and easier to follow.  Also, in case you haven't noticed I am now adding about 40% more info per step and redoing all the images.  Unlike with my previous vanilla guides, I am now giving a brief explanation of where to go and what to do with each step along with any other helpful tips.
":"  -  Any time a step ends in a ":" instead of a "." means that the next step is part of the current step you are on.  This generally means the next step should be done while working on the current step.  This means every "start working on" or "continue working on" will end in a ":".  But this is used with other occasions as well, so keep this in mind.
If you come to G2G.com by google "buy gold wow" or “wow gold sell" or "buy wow gold offgamers" or "how to make money playing mmo games" or "Return to Karazhan" or "the Armies of Legionfall" or "world of warcraft usa price gaming" or "trust webs selling gold mmo games" or "Broken Shore" or "Cathedral of Eternal Night" or "wow gold canada" or "buy world of warcraft classic gold" or "wow classic gold" or "cheap wow classic gold" or "buy classic wow gold" or "vanilla wow gold" or "cheap vanilla wow gold", then you are at the right place for the cheapest wow gold!
I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections.  I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff.  Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter.  I think these were great changes.
Escort quests can take awhile to do.  I have thoroughly tested all the escort quests in the game for time/xp.  Most are worth doing, but as long as you are able to actually do them without failing.  Most require you to pay special attention to the escortee as most are fragile and will die easily, so do your best to keep mobs off of the escortee during escort quests.  The longest one in the game is the Tanaris chicken escort.  The chicken escorts are only worth doing if you were able to do all 3 of them, as if you do, you will be able to turn in an additional easy quick XP turn in quest at BB, which makes them worth it.
Thalassian Base Camp (marked BLUE on the map) - Some Blood Elves have set up a camp in the northern parts of the Azshara. Blood Elf Reclaimers and Blood Elf Surveyors that can be encountered in the said camp are rather easy to kill and have very good Loot Table. The most notable items dropped by those Elves include Runecloth, Mageweave Cloth, 16 Slot Backpacks, various Vendor Trash Items (junk weapons, armor, and so on), and Pocket Money. They can also be Pickpocketed, so this spot presents an additional value for Rogues. Blood Elf Reclaimers have access to strong Fireball, Heal, and Renew Spells, so they should be interrupted when possible and prioritized. Recommended Level - 52+ (54+ to be extra safe, and farm Elves at an increased pace).

Players should keep in mind if you want to gain the full 100% XP reward from killing mobs they will need to close to your current level. With that in mind below we list each location you can grind levels 1-60 with the Mage class. The Level your character should be before you start farming in that specific location will be indicated to left in a Blue Color for Alliance [Lvl 35-39] and the Orange Color for Horde [Lvl 35-39]. The Mobs you are looking for in that specific area names are Bolded [Mob Name].

Although WoW currency can be found through quests, fallen enemies or the dreaded "farming" process, doing it the conventional way is time-consuming. Considering the upcoming release of the Legion expansion pack in August of 2016, stocking up on gold is more important than ever. This way, you can spend less time farming and more time buying everything you need to tackle the next set of challenges.
If possible, avoid purchasing Gear from the Auction House - Ideally, you should be able to achieve level 60 without buying anything from the Auction House. This way you will save Gold, but possibly make leveling a bit harder for yourself. If you badly require an Item upgrade, and the suitable Item is available on the Auction House for a low enough price - buy it, but only if you think that the investment will pay for itself in one way or another (the main exceptions to the Auction House ban Rule are Weapons and Wands, as they make leveling much faster, and pay for themselves by allowing you to chain-kill more mobs without Eating and Drinking, which saves Gold and time).

Good news, Warcraft fans – WoW Classic‘s release date has been revealed as August 27, and an invite-only closed beta test will begin tomorrow, May 15. Current World of Warcraft subscribers can opt-in to an invite-only closed beta test. This is the first firm info we have been given on World of Warcraft Classic since we first reported on it back in March of this year.

The World of Warcraft is going back to its roots with WoW Classic. Giving players the chance to return to the game as it was around the time of its launch, WoW Classic is set to launch worldwide on August 27. However, ahead of its imminent release, the team at Blizzard are offering a closed beta test for WoW Classic, and we’ve got all the details players need to jump in on the action.
