This is the lamest excuse to try and pin it on a cash grab. Tbh this is just you complaining to complain, there is no issue. If you wanted to play classic on launch you'd have to sub before hand anyways you're still paying month to month you don't pay by week. The only way you'd lose that money is if you quit before your sub ran out later on down the road.

You can become so swept up in the uniqueness of your first experience that you overlook many flaws. It's likely many look at WoW Classic with rose-colored glasses, just as many simply forgot which features were added when. And some of today's WoW players may be too young to have even played vanilla WoW as it once was.
I don't think you really understand what my concern with this is. I'm not talking about needing it now. I'm talking about just a fair shot for everyone to grab what they want. To me, a fair way would be to just let people make their characters on launch day. But with what they are doing, they are essentially using a "pay to win" approach to getting popular names. You have no chance to grab a name like Arthas on launch day now. So let's say you are a former vanilla player like me who has no interest in the retail WoW. We are now forced to pay for 2 weeks of subscriptions just to pick a name we want.
To gain gold in World of Warcraft, you will primarily be grinding professions which are fantastic for receiving rewards. Mining is an example of a great profession at an early-game level. While Herbalism is actually the best gathering profession, the issue is it uses consumables which can make the profession rather costly, with the investment required.
The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped. My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch. As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet). There is also a lot of route changes. I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone. There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands. This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.
There are 5 Dreaming whelps and 7 adolescent whelps spawns, They drop the small flame sack which sells for a decent amount at auction house or can be used to make fire protection potions. The sacks have around 10% chance to drop and it's one of the main reasons you want to grind here. On top of this you'll get lots of grey items, green and blues with a higher chance than your average mob. If you are not aware yet, dragonkins have the best loot table in the game while having less HP and armor... making them easier to kill, assuming you're not fighting elites...
